Who: We are a non-profit support group devoted to helping Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Gulf War Syndrome Patients and their Families.
What: A safe, relaxed atmosphere for sharing emotional support to improve daily life. We offer educational classes and references to one on one counseling for Fibromyalgia patients.
When: Third Wednesday of each month (February thru November), 5:30 - 7:00 PM (NOTE: November is sometimes one week early due to holidays. Others stay the same -unless otherwise noted on the calendar of events).
Where: Valley Health Medical Office Building II, Conference Room 330 (third floor), Purple Parking Lot F (on Campus Blvd on the Winchester Medical Center's Campus) Winchester VA (unless otherwise noted on the calendar of events)
How: As a Non-Profit Group, DAILY PAIN relies totally on public donations in order to offer Educational classes, materials, and monthly activities. Donations can be offered during our meetings, or sent to "DAILY PAIN" 2491-5 Martinsburg Pike, Stephenson, VA 22656.
Why: To provide an alternative to the isolation brought on by chronic pain diseases and to educate the general public, including medical personnel and students. As leaders of this group, we face the same challenges from these illnesses that our members do. This group gives us a purpose and keeps us as active as our health will allow. This group belongs to its members.
